Vorgestern abend bin ich aus Leipzig wiedergekommen und bin immer noch in einem... hmm... Geschwindigkeitsrausch

FÜr Microsoft Partner, die bis zum 31.05.2006 die Kompetenz "Information Worker Solutions" belegt hatten, veranstaltete Microsoft ein Prelaunch Event. Und das nicht nur irgendwo, sondern im Kundenzentrum der Porsche Leipzig GmbH. 2 Tage lang wurde das neue Microsoft Office vorgestellt. Am 2. Tag wurde es dann noch besser:

Erst ging es mit den Porsche Cayennes auf die Porsche-eigene Rennstrecke (FIA zertifiziert) und danach ins eigene Offroad-Gelände mit Auerochsen und Wildpferden. Hier mal ein paar Videos von der Rennstrecke:

Beta Exam 71-540: TS: Microsoft® Windows Mobile® 5.0 - Application Development [Beta version of Exam 70-540]

The Beta exam is FREE for you, and it will count towards certification in the same way as the final version of the exam.   When the exam begins, you will be able to specify whether you want to take the exam in Visual Basic .NET, Visual C# .NET or in Visual C++ .Net.

Microsoft® has launched a New Generation of Certifications. There are two series of credentials for .NET Framework developers: Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD).  The MCTS credential highlights your ability to develop applications using the .NET Framework 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005. The MCPD credential highlights your job role, featuring your specific area of expertise and allowing you to distinguish yourself as an expert in Windows Development, Web Application Development, or Enterprise Applications Development.

Exam 70-540 is required to achieve the “Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Microsoft Windows Mobile® 5.0 Applications” certification.

You are being given advanced notification about this Beta exam. By participating in Beta exams, you have the opportunity to provide the Microsoft Certification Program with feedback about exam content, which is integral to the development of a high quality exam. Ich würde mich freuen, neue (und auch alte) Gesichter dort begrüßen zu dürfen.

Also ich finde das Geschäftsgebahren der Firma Host Europe GmbH in Köln merkwürdig. Ich habe dort vor drei Jahren ein Paket gebucht und bisher war es nie ein Problem, dass die Firma das Geld von meinem Konto einzieht. da dies einmal im Jahr passiert, denkt man auch nicht unbedingt daran, dass man dieser Firma noch die neuen Kontodaten mitteilen muss.

Jetzt war es vor wenigen Tagen wieder soweit: eine Rechnung von Host Europe schlitterte in den digitalen Briefkasten. Bei genauerer Betrachtung der Email stellte ich aber fest, dass dort noch meine ALTEN Kontodaten hinterlegt waren. Daraufhin habe ich sofort eine Mail an die Service-Abteilung geschrieben und meine NEUEN Kontodaten mitgeteilt. Doch anstatt von meiner neuen Kontoverbindung abzubuchen, werden natürlich meine alten Daten benutzt. Das Geld wurde selbstverständlich ein paar Tage später von meinem neuen Konto abgebucht.

Soweit dachte ich, wäre alles fein. Jetzt bekomme ich am Wochenende erneut Post von Host Europe - diesmal auf dem klassischen Botenweg in den physikalisch am Haus befindlichen Briefkasten. Eine weitere Rechnung: 8,90 € für die Rücklastschrift und 1,45 € für die postalische Rechnungsstellung. Bei genauerem Nachfragen an der nicht wirklich freundlichen Hotline sagte man mir, ich bekäme doch alle Rechnungen per Post und die 8,90 € müsste man mir berechnen.

Ziehen wir mal ein Fazit: der Kunde benachrichtigt die Firma Host Europe zeitnah über die Kontoänderungen. Man hätte ohne weiteres noch den Lastschrifteinzug stoppen können. Doch statt hier einzugreifen, wird alles laufen gelassen und am Ende muss der Kunde 8,90 € zahlen. Dann wird auf einmal eine Rechnung nicht mehr elektronisch, sondern postalisch zugestellt und soll dafür auch noch zahlen - 1,45 €: das ist normalerweise die Gebühr für einen Großbrief, aber die Rechnung war in einem Standardbrief zugestellt worden. Das nenne ich mal wieder Abzocke.

In Köln (wen wunderts) hat man sich wohl nicht auf die Fahnen geschrieben "Der Kunde ist König", sondern wohl eher "Mit dem Kunden kann mans ja machen". Für mich hatte dieses Verhalten zur Konsequenz alle meine Verträge bei Hosteurope sofort zu kündigen. mal schauen, ob man mir auch noch die Zustellung der Kündigungsbestätigung berechnet, wahrscheinlich mit 10,- €, ist ja ein Paket...
